A car accident in Milford Feb. 22 resulted in the death of a city resident, according to police.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. Milford Police responded to a report of an accident at the intersection of East Broadway and Surf Avenue, where a car traveling eastbound on East Broadway collided with an unoccupied, parked vehicle on the same street.
Mark Thibault, 36, of Milford, was driver of the car and the only person involved in the crash. Police said he sustained life threatening injuries and was taken by the Milford Fire Department to Bridgeport Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
