Volunteers helped spread candy across the designated area between each hunt. Several hunts were held during the event with children grouped by their school class level to keep the younger kids from being overrun.
Some of the candy spread across the field had special markings that earned the recipients extra prizes.
Other activities at the annual invent included face-painting.
