The Milford Arts Council will host a concert featuring Deadgrass, the high-energy jamgrass ensemble led by multi-instrumentalist Matt Turk and Grammy Award–winning guitarist C Lanzbom, with two shows on Friday, March 28.
Deadgrass reimagines the music of Jerry Garcia – drawing from the Grateful Dead, Old & In the Way and the Jerry Garcia Band – with acoustic groove, improvisation and roots-driven exploration.
The band features seasoned artists bassist Dave Richards, banjoist Kris Bauman and jazz violinist Kensuke Shoji, whose collective experience spans Broadway, major festivals, international touring and collaborations with legends across jazz, folk, rock and soul.
The first show starts at 6:30 p.m.; the second starts at 9 p.m. Each show features a completely unique setlist with different songs, jams and surprises. Tickets are $40 in advance for either single show and $60 for a double show pass. The MAC is located at 40 Railroad Ave. South in Milford.
