Milford Bank Starts Account For Milford Family Recovering From Fire

State Rep. Kim Rose (D-Milford) announced Friday that The Milford Bank has set up an account to help in assisting a Milford family who lost most of their possessions in a fire last week on Old Point Road.

Rose announced the details of a clothing drive earlier this week.

“We are currently doing a clothing drive, however if you prefer you can go to any Milford Bank and make a deposit to the account under the name Jorge Araujo,” Rose said.

All clothing items are still needed for the clothing drive. The family’s sizes are listed below. Items can be delivered to the Beth-El Center at 90 New Haven Ave. in Milford. Donations will be accepted from July 24 through Aug. 7.

Rose’s office can be reached at 800-842-8267.
