The Milford Garden Club will host Sally Brockett, a local gardener, birder and president of the Daytime Gardeners of North Haven on Tuesday, Sept. 8 to present tips on attracting hummingbirds to your yard and share her experiences with hummingbirds and backyard birding.
Brockett began seriously identifying birds in the early 1970s, and her list of rare and uncommon “life” birds has grown over the years.
The presentation begins at 1 p.m. and will be held at the DAR Chapter House, 55 Prospect St. in Milford.
