Troop 711 in Milford will host an open house on Friday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Margaret Egan Center in Milford. The event is free and open to those interested in scouting.
Troop 711 is a girl troop with Scouting America, formerly the Boy Scouts of America that started two years ago. Scouting America began allowing girls in scouting seven years ago.
