Orange Announces Memorial Day Honorees

Orange has announced its honorees for the 2021 Memorial Day ceremony and parade.

Dr. Norman J. Marieb, a Navy Lieutenant who served from 1961 to 1963, will act as the ceremony’s grand marshal. Kevin J. Hadlock, a Navy Lieutenant who served from 1971 to 1974, will be chief of staff. Louis Abram Eagle, who served in the Army from 1960 to 1963, will be the ceremony’s “honored veteran.” The keynote speaker will be Christopher Carvath.

The ceremony begins Sunday, May 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the gazebo on the fairgrounds of High Plains Community Center.  The parade will follow immediately after the ceremony.
