The Milford Bank has now added Orange and West Haven to its First Time Homebuyers Program. The program, which also includes Stratford and Milford, gives first-time homebuyers added opportunities to purchase property.
The program offers a 1/8 percent reduction from the standard rate, prequalification certificates and preapproved applications to assist in participants’ home search, low down payment options, and a refund of the $475 application fee upon closing. The Milford Bank also participates in the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority’s first-time homebuyer program on a statewide level.
