The Boys & Girls Club of Milford is holding two pumpkin-themed events at Walnut Beach on Friday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 5.
Pumpkins Eve runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday evening, featuring the sounds of the Rum Runners and a variety of food trucks and beer by The New England Brewing Co. There will also be a “pumpkin patch” with decorated jack-o-lanterns. Admission to the event is $5 and must be made in cash. Pier viewing ends at 9:30 p.m.
Pumpkins on the Pier runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, with a rain date of Sunday, Oct. 6. There will be a large corn maze and an obstacle course. It will also include the pumpkin patch, pumpkin activities, face painting, arts and crafts, food trucks and pier displays. The event is free and open to the public. Pier viewing on Saturday ends at 4 p.m.
