The Milford Arts Council and Milford Photo are now accepting submissions of 2D work for their annual collaborative photo expo. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 3.
Photographers of any skill or experience level are encouraged to submit, with a maximum of two submissions per person. Students, amateurs, hobbyists and professional photographers can present their work alongside each other. A fee of $15 will be collected for one submission, and $30 for both. There is no theme for the exhibition.
The opening reception for the photo expo will take place on Thursday, March 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the MAC, located at 40 Railroad Ave. S. in Milford. The exhibit will be on display from March 30 through Friday, May 19. The MAC is open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m.
Participants will be judged in three categories: Best in Black & White, Best in Color and Best in Show. Milford Photo is providing gift certificates to the shop which can be used toward equipment, products, printing and more.
