Wepawaug-CT Valley-West Rock Chapter of Hadassah Presents Forum on Domestic Violence

The Wepawaug-CT Valley-West Rock Chapter of Hadassah will present a Forum on Domestic Violence at Congregation B’nai Jacob, Woodbridge, Connecticut on Tuesday, October 17, 2917 at 7:30 PM. This community forum will feature a panel that will discuss domestic violence. The forum will end with a call to action, detailing how attendees and the community can help in fighting for women affected by violence.


The panel will be moderated by Rabbi Rona Shapiro, Spiritual Leader of Congregation B’nai Jacob. Panelists include: Rachel Scolnic Dobin, Jewish Family Service of Greater New Haven, Community Outreach Coordinator, Jillian Gilchrest, Director of Health Professional Outreach for the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV), and Tracey V. Parks, Coordinator of Community Education and Training, Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services.

The forum will also highlight Hadassah’s national advocacy division, PRAZE (Programming, Advocacy, Zionism and Education); stressing the importance Hadassah places on advocating for women’s health and safety across the nation and around the globe.
