Milford Adopts Budget With Tax Reduction

For the fifth consecutive year, Milford taxpayers will see a decrease in the amount of local taxes due.

The Board of Aldermen on May 6 adopted the Mayor Ben Blake’s budget for fiscal year 2020-2021, which will be reduce the mill rate to 27.68 mills.

“We have many residents in our community and across the world who are experiencing economic hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the City of Milford is rising to the occasion and offering relief,” Blake said.

Milford has one of the lowest mill rates among its neighboring communities.
