The Rotary Club of Milford has chosen its own Bill Parry III as this year’s recipient of Rotary District 7980’s Norman K. Parcells Award. This award, presented each year in memory of Parcells, is given to a Rotarian who exemplifies his spirit of service above self, leadership, and dedication to Rotary and community initiatives.

During Parry’s more than 13 years of membership in the Rotary Club of Milford he has been the assistant chair for the Milford Rotary Food Tent at the Milford Oyster Festival, works each year as a lobster cracker at the annual Milford Rotary Lobster Bake and has helped to cook and serve meals at the Beth-El Center’s soup kitchen. He was one of the founding members of the club’s Blues, Brews, and BBQ event, and has been part of the team distributing dictionaries to third graders in the Milford schools. He currently serves as a member of the club’s Board of Directors.

Parry is a lifelong Milford resident and is a local realtor with Joy Real Estate Services, located downtown on the Milford Green.
